This auction is for my latest soaker creation, Vincent. It is inspired by one of my favorite paintings by Vincent van Gogh, Starry Night. This soaker is hand-dyed in shades of deep blue and purple, then hand embroidered with a design reminiscent of van Gogh's beautiful painting.
Special design features include non-binding, stretchy leg cuffs and extra fullness in the back to give perfect coverage over any type of cloth diaper. This is a size medium with waist stretching from 12-24", thighs from 8-15", and a rise of 19". It is knit with wonderfully soft Bluefaced Leicester yarn.
To care for your Kool Sheep soaker, hand wash in warm water with baby shampoo, squeeze out excess water in a towel, and lay flat to dry. Every once in a while, lanolize by shaking hot water, shampoo, and a bit of lanolin together in a jar and adding this liquid to the wash water. Allow to soak for 15-20 minutes, then dry as usual. Generally, you will only need to wash your soaker every two to three weeks and lanolize every third or fourth wash.
