Hi, I'm Karen, mama to Julia and Isaac, and wife to Todd. I've been cloth diapering my two kiddos for
over two years now, and it has become somewhat of an obsession for me. So much so, that I put together
a web page for people who are just starting out with cloth diapering at
Karen's Cloth Diapering Site. Some of you may know
me as engineer_mama (I'm a research engineer) from the message boards at Mothering, the Diaper Pin,
or Baby Center.
As long as I can remember, I've loved crafts, including sewing, knitting and quilting. Knitting soakers
has been a wonderful way for me to combine two of my favorite hobbies -- knitting and cloth diapering.
I enjoy every aspect of soaker design, from hearing your ideas about color and embellishment, to
dyeing the yarn, knitting the soaker, and even maintaining this site.
